The product
EBANO RICE Ebano is the acronym of “Early Black Aromatic NOvelty” and is a precious novelty from an environmental, gastronomic and sensory point of view. Ebano grows in the field with very low energy and input requirements: less water, less fertiliser, no fungicides. Weeds can be controlled through intensive mechanical weeding thanks to its considerably delayed sowing. No rice grown today can be sown as late as Ebano, at the end of June. For this reason it also suits organic, sustainable and low-environmental-impact farming. Ebano is suited to making tasty risottos and many modern recipes, and also becomes an ingredient in baked goods, finger food, sushi and arancini.
